I guess there’s also the Hulk fan that sees them self as the nerd who is holding back their rage and identifies with Hulk there, but I’ve never met someone who fills that mould. Besides the original run of Spider-Man does the bit of angry nerd holding back better. There might also be some dudes who are really into the World War Hulk run and pick him as their favorite because of that. But as highly regarded as that run is, the 2000s Marvel comics were pushing out so many good storylines I don’t see many people rank that as their favorite.
