Get some powdered citric acid and you’ll never have to worry about running out. A little of that, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of sugar shaken up in a bottle of water and you get something very similar.
A cold brewed sumac tea with a dash of citric acid and sugar is also very good.

I love lemon water, but my love for it comes in phases so I keep a big bottle of pure lemon juice in the fridge, it never goes bad.
This way I can have my lemon water when lemon water era comes around again.
