Airplane! is one of the funniest films ever made, but what makes it even more unique, is that the majority of the cast had no experience in comedies.
This wasn’t a problem though, because their background in dramatic acting, was the exact reason the directors hired them. Because sometimes the funniest thing you can do, is ignore the joke entirely.
