I guess the white margin was an artistic decision, but I was feeling snarky before I realized which community this was, and it feels a shame not to post it now.
It was instagram padding so that the entire image shows on instagram instead of being cropped. Less artistic, more utilitarian, but I like your interpretation.

Yeah, it is Tampa. Those are the monorails on the left and right side. I fly back home pretty often to visit family.

Lol, Tampa is pretty tame until the holidays when the snowbirds come. Then you have to wonder whose bright idea it was to put a monorail in an airport.
