The implication is there are only two options (iPhone or Android), this is the third option.* Obviously its not that black and white, with GrapheneOS, lineage, /e/, etc.
just a bit of a correction: they are talking about os-es and currently on the smartphone market it is just ios and android (the alternatives are android too) and this is a linux distro

It’s a Linux, but not fully open-source.
PostmarketOS is the pure option, and needs our attention.
Ah okay, I thought it meant the are two other good phone brands to choose from. 😅

Yeah that’s one. Friend had one of those, she wasn’t satisfied with it. 😐

I have FP6, /e/os, works without a single issue,
Can’t remember, it was a few years ago. It was one of the earlier models, so probably something wrong with only those.
