It’s uh… It’s literally just noodles, pastas, and meats. Gets really monotonous tbh.

Don’t even get me started on Panda Express. Americanized Chinese cuisine that’s been completely bastardized because most of us white people flip out over a single drop of hot sauce in their food.

Buffalo wings? Flaming Cheetohs? Deli sandwich with some good strong horseradish? Those giant shakers of pepper flakes at pizzerias? Diablo sauce ant Taco Bell? Along with the aforementioned Gen. Tso’s.

There’s some truth to the stereotype (look at Texas A and M breeding milder jalapeños), but if there’s a pattern to “white people food” it’s to allow increasing spice to individual taste at the point of consumption.

There’s some truth to the stereotype (look at Texas A and M breeding milder jalapeños),

If I remember correctly talking to a farmer one time, the jalapeños crop like on a whole is on a gradual trend towards losing their capsaicin levels through the generations and years that its gotten to the point industrial food manufacturers have to add in synthetic capsaicin to actually make spicy jalapeño based products. The reasoning if I remember is that huge crops of mild jalapeños create a large stable flavor baseline that the manufacturers can adjust upwards more easily rather than relying on arbitrary nature and plants or some sort of expensive sorting system to try and create hot, medium, and mold jalapeño based products.

Long story short capitalism is a fucking cracker that hates flavor

what they hate is natural inconsistency. you cant have a hot sauce where the exact heat level depends on the specific farm the pepers came from, or changes with the years as different years produce different levels.

so it has to be mild peppers + industrially adjusted/calibrated levels of pure chemical heat.
