you have kids addicted to AI sex chatbots from a company owned by billionaires but you dont have people being taken and put in pods to be hooked up to a simulation. theres elites kidnapping kids for trafficking and to rape them but you also have dinner with your family on most days. healthcare is not affordable but you just ignore most pain and walk it off (when it doesnt kill you). a US base is right out of my city and i know what they do to kids and women in there but right now im sitting here writing a post about it and nothing will realistically happen to me. so much actual hellish shit vs mundane day to day life at the same time
I think it only feels mundane to me because I was born into a relatively comfortable position. Shit’s gonna stop feeling mundane not long from now I imagine
I think it’ll only fully sink in in retrospective cos our brains are working overtime to try and make everything feel okay when it isn’t.
