Russia is a paper tiger. When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan…the Soviet Union soon collapsed under the weight of its own failure. Now, Putin is repeating that history in Ukraine.

Russia keeps losing to much smaller, much less advanced armies. The only thing that gives them any teeth at all, is the fact that they have nuclear weapons. And using them, would inevitably lead to their own destruction. What makes Russia dangerous, is that even when a paper tiger is cornered, it becomes desperate. So, Putin may decide to “take everyone else with him”, when he eventually falls.
