        I nicked the idea from John Lewis. He tweeted something that I must have shared at least 20+ times online over the years. And a lot of those share were at Hexbear. But he’s the Liberal Patron Saint of Voting and “Good Trouble” and I can’t resist sharing it again.

        I was beaten bloody by police officers. But I never hated them. I said, ‘Thank you for your service.’

            When he was alive - he must have spent 95+% of every waking moment fixated on voting. Very little thought if none at all about how to make the lives of his constituents or lives of all Americans better. Voting was an end to itself: voting-voting-voting-voting-voting-voting… And he was in congress ~30 years and died with his boots on.
