Do you think we can use this to our advantage?

“see zoomers? You’ve done EVERYTHING right! You voted republican! You parrot all the prejudices against the underclass like a good model citizen….and they STILL call you a communist anyway! Well why not be a commie if that makes them so happy?”

Yeah, Zoomers aren’t idiots and capitalism is crashing hard so when there is nothing left to eat, they’ll eat the rich. Communism isn’t a dirty word anymore and people I know, both old and young, are warming up to left wing ideals that would have been unheard of before now. I really think the right is becoming more and more of a vocal minority that is purposefully amplified by algorithms. I’m not sure how true the narritive that GenZ is both extreme right and left is because the media used to say the same thing about us when the alt-right pipeline first started getting traction a decade ago.

Hell I think every generation is becoming more left now. Even some previously right-wing boomers I know have done a 180. Capitalism is increasingly losing its sparkle as people see its true face and the problems start hitting home.

The media is pushing right-wing narrative hard and I think that’s on purpose because the ruling class knows people aren’t buying it as easy anymore. They want to create the illusion that the the right is more popular than it is so that people don’t realise just how unified we are against it.

Reject ageist/generationalist discourse. It is not a helpful distinction and its harmfully divisive.

While age beackets are not monoliths, they do have similar experiences from their lives that shape their opinions. For Zoomers and younger Millennials, they grew up watching liberalism eat itself like a cancer so it’s not surprising that they are more in favor of abolishing the system than Boomers who found their success from that system. It’s the same reason that Poles and Russians who lived through the Nazi genocide of their homelands had such strong anti-fascist tendencies while a chunk who grew up after the fall of the Iron Curtain became Neo-Nazis.

People across all age groups are abandoning liberalism, but it is more stark in the younger generations because they do not yet have entrenched believe systems.

I’m certainly not saying there aren’t some patterns to observe. But for the large part it’s massively overstated and overplayed. They certainly don’t have differing material interests. The difference in 90% of actual political views is pretty marginal.

Well sweaty, horseshoe theory states that those things are actually the same. Maybe if you educated yourself you’d know that.

Sorry chuds, but learn basic economics. If you keep ripping off the working class, you’re increasing the risk of them unionizing and raising costs on you. It’s actually in your interest to get a shitty deal.

“It is easier to fool someone than convincing him he was fooled”

Anyway this is not a problem for us. This is a problem for people who still want or support democracy. Our system is based on reason and therefore their dumbness will not affect us
