i believe the Taurus was FWD and couldn’t be optioned with a V8. maybe you’re thinking of the panther body (Crown Vic/Grand Marquis/Town Car). imo the panther body is the most iconic interceptor.
No, most of the Taurus interceptors are AWD, and all are v6. Mine is the 3.5l Ecoboost twin turbo, I got pretty lucky getting it.
