They wrote it and were the actors iirc. Also, this isn’t forcing sexuality on anyone.
They are implying that the actors aren’t just friends but gay bros.
Mat Damon did not deny he had a relationship with whatsisname, instead he told other actors to keep it in the closet for their careers. That opens the conversation to a lot of interpretation.
