Hi, I’m looking for an RTS that my brother and me played in the 1990s. The problem is that I have almost no information on it because we hardly played it at all. If I remember correctly we never found out how exactly it worked. It was pre-3D, classic pseudo-isometric, future themed. The only thing that might distinguish it from other games of that sort is that you had to collect scrap from destroyed enemies to build new units.
Edit: I went through a list of ever single RTS of the 1990s to see if something sounded familiar: it was Akte Europa. It’s very obscure and only saw release in Germany.

It kind of looks similar, especially with the blue-silver colour scheme of one faction. But I think I would remember the title and the box, since it’s not an obscure game. I’m not quite sure, but I don’t think it’s it.
Edit: I have it in my library. If I can’t say it after trying it out, there’s no chance of finding the right game anyway.
Edit 2: No, it’s definitely not Total Annihilation. It’s a bit similar, but it was slower, fewer and bigger units and no 3D models
