I’m looking for the name of the graphic style that TV channels like Fox and HBO used between 2004 and 2008. I asked a friend who knows more about this and he gave me this answer.
Because of its use of auroras, trails and futuristic intention it could be categorized within the frutiger aero, but it is not exactly.
I’ve been looking at images of the graphic style mentioned, but it doesn’t quite match what I’m looking for, so I’m asking for help. If the graphic style doesn’t have a name, you can suggest TV channels or people who have a similar or the same graphic style (a video would be even better). To clarify, this video exemplifies the style I’m looking for, not only in terms of visuals but also music and sound effects, like the holographic projector sound you hear in the video. If you know any song in that style or a similar one, please recommend them as well.
Out of curiosity I did some research, and the ones that seems to come closer to me aesthetically are ‘Retro Interface’
and ‘Analog Sci-Fi UI’,mixed with something like ‘Dark Aero’ (similar to PS3 UI).It’s probably not a single style, but a mixture of different ideas.
Edit: Actually not so much Analog Sci-Fi, but definitely something like Retro/CRT Interface + Dark Aero.
