A woman who was juror No. 5 spoke to WBZ-TV’s Kristina Rex Tuesday, though she asked to remain anonymous.
“At the end of the day, there was so much doubt,” the woman said. “The prosecution didn’t have a figurative smoking gun. There was not a single moment throughout the presentation of that case where you could say ‘Yup, 100% I’m certain she did it’ or that she didn’t do it. There was too much gray area.”
11 jurors are saying so as well.
There is a lot of grey area when it comes to psychosis.
The question isn’t if she did it. She did.
The question is where she gets locked up, jail or sanitarium.

Kirk Heilbrun, who reportedly performed psychiatric tests on Clancy in April, told the court that he questioned her claims that a hallucinated voice commanded her to commit the act, and that he believed she took their lives so they wouldn’t “suffer” after she killed herself. “The way she described this as happening is that she heard a voice that she’d never heard before, experienced a hallucination and she’s never experienced it since,” Heilbrun said during his testimony. “To put it mildly, that would be a very, very unusual pattern or manifestation of how this kind of thing comes about.”
I’ll gonna listen to the CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST that interviewed her, and testified under oath, not tiktok.
That psychologist also admits that he’s only treated a handful of patients for postpartum issues over the course of his 25 year career. He’s hardly an expert.
If it only took that testimony to convict Clancy, then there wouldn’t have been a mistrial with 11 jurors convinced that there is reasonable doubt here.
