If you cast your mind way, way back, you might recall the promising MMO project that was Stargate Worlds. Based on the hit sci-fi franchise from the ’90s and 2000s, Stargate Worlds was announced in 2006 and progressed all the way to the beta stage by 2008. What a let down! I’m just rewatching the series as my girlfriend has never seen them, other than the original film.
