Anti-genocide and Anti-ecocide protestors get jail but Jeremy McKenzie gets to run white power “combat drills” in Millarville Alberta.

The request for fascism doesn’t come from nowhere. It is an indicator that something is not done by the government. Completely ignored, not just being insufficient. Fascism is a symptom in most cases, not an illness itself. But of course nobody will dig that deep.

Fascism is a near-inevitable outcome of poorly checked capitalism, helped along by the poverty arising from it, along with the hierarchical ideals of corporarist environments. So yes, fascism is a symptom, and the cause is not easily solved, so the symptom has to be treated. Education, especially in critical thinking, and ideally before exposure to the fairy tales of popluar religions, alleviation of poverty, and, unfortunately, the culling of those who prove themselves too committed to fascist ideals are all part of the medium term mitigation. Since oligarchs and corporatists tend to resist these things, they have to be counteracted, disconnected from their power base, assets, and financial tools. Since that’s also unlikely to happen in North America, we’re looking at an unpleasant future.

It’s not the murder’s fault they murder! The person they murdered must have been doing something wrong.

But of course nobody will dig that deep.

Murders are symptoms too. In some comfortable to live places the amount of murders is somehow lower. Don’t you think it would be nice to investigate the situation or you think that prosecuting murderers is completely enough? It isn’t THAT deep, but not many are willing to dig even that shallow layer of dust.

Neo-fascists must be fought everywhere including in Canada. Though the message sounds right, the courier is more than questionable. This is a media outlet by the far-left that is frequently praising China, a country whose government by no means better.

Just because it is “praising China” doesn’t mean it is incorrect about fighting fascism.

Fascism is a much bigger problem at the moment than China is.

Fighting one extremism with another is always wrong. China is exploiting societal issues in Canada and other Western countries by using legitimate critique to undermine the system. It’s easier then to present China’s system as the better alternative - which, of course, isn’t.

China’s dictatorial policy is just the same as any right-wing fascist regime. They basically commit the same crimes, just the pretext is different.
