If the version i’m using is working why would i risk updating to a version that might break my SSD or break a program that was working just fine or break something else that i need.

I am planning to switch to Linux but i just don’t have the drive at the moment and after work i just want to relax.

I already am kinda using Linux Mint that i installed on an old PC for my wife and it’s easy to understand but i’m just too lazy at the moment.
