Macklemore is turning his removal from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour into a new run of his own, announcing a three-city “Free Palestine Tour” in Europe with additional artists and U.S. dates still to come.

The rapper announced the benefit tour Thursday, with concerts scheduled for Oct. 26 at 3Arena in Dublin, Oct. 29 at Accor Arena in Paris and Oct. 30 at OVO Arena Wembley in London. Ticketmaster is billing the shows as “Macklemore & Friends,” though participating artists have not yet been announced.

Macklemore said all proceeds from the concerts will benefit organizations “supporting the Palestinian people and movement.”

Nice, using the momentum to help get the Palestinian people out from under the thumb of Hamas and the IDF.

Also really stick it to the network if people driving celebrities to not speak out.

Would you rather be Ed Sheeran or Macklemore right now? The rich can kick you off tours but not make the masses hate you anymore.

It’s a shitty comparison. Last I remember the empire didn’t fund the rebels. That said I wouldn’t rank Israel and the leadership the Palestinians were allowed to have equally. Hamas never did much for the Palestinians, but then Israel wouldn’t have allowed it anyhow.

Talking shit about Hamas does nothing but provide cover for the genocide. At this point we all know the shitty things Hamas has done, but they are fighting against an enemy who literally wants to exterminate every last non-Israeli person in the region. We can hold tribunals for Hamas once Palestine is free and the state of Israel is dismantled. In the meantime, at the very least hold your tongue and don’t carry water for the genocidal imperialists.

You disingenuous fuck. Netanyahu funded Hamas. Action was purposefully delayed on October 7 and then Israel brought in Apache helicopters to shoot everyone. There were plenty of other political alternatives in the past, but they all got squashed because Israel never wanted to make peace with the people whose land they stole. Hamas is a strategic means to an end - that being a long term strategy for the annihilation of the Palestinian people.

This is like saying the Red Army hurt the Soviet cause during WW2. Yes, there are things to criticize, but both forces are literally the only thing stopping complete annihilation at the hands of fascists.

I just love that Kraft’s active actions in support of the XXI century version of the NAZIs and their Genocide has ended up snowballing into extra awareness of and attention on the plight of their victims, mainly the Palestinians.

Also love how Ed Sheeran has been outed as yet another tactical tacit supporter of that Genocide (in the style of American and British Liberals - not openly supporting but rather by being accomplices in the shutting down of criticism of it) - it’s like a large stone was turned over and we now see all the creepy-crawlers scurrying.

Israel would snipe him out 100%. No question. He’s not even US I think he’s canadian, not that the israelis give a fuck about killing americans. But they would care even less about canada, every authoritarian government loves to pick on canada anyway. Because the US hasn’t been backing them up so much since 2016.

I’m thinking that he deliberately chose one city that’s pretty much guaranteed to welcome him and his message with open arms (Dublin), one that has a shitload of zionists AND uncowed anti-zionists so it could go either way (Paris), and one of the main zionism-enforcing and free speech-suppressing cities of the world (London)

Dublin’s gonna be a great time for everyone involved, and the other two are probably going to further the cause by generating the right headlines.

I think London will put even more pressure on the British Government since the Public Opinion over there is pretty much on the opposite side of Her Majesty’s Government and most of the rest of the political class on this (the latter are unwavering supporters of Israel and their Genocide, to the point of using the kind of powers used in Dictatorships to push back on criticism of it, such as having critics of Israel and its Genocide arrested as “Supporters of Terrorism”, so worse even than the “crimes” Putin in Russia created to deal with his critics).

Paris is in the Schengen zone, and Germany could preemptively ban him from entering, under the Staatsräson.

And he made an absolute killing’ off of that song too by initially making the song popular before they just contracted services for distribution instead of the normal record deal which entirely favors the record companies. He is talented and very smart.

It would be so funny if the line up consist of:

Aaron Rowe, Finneas, Lukas Graham, and Beoga (all were opening acts or supportive bands in the Ed Sheeran Tour)

Edit: Added artists names. in the original comment I just use the term Ed Sheeran acts.
