Right-wingers, much like H.P Lovecraft are afraid of Non-Euclidean shapes.

I’m pretty sure Thomas “It is not theft, properly speaking, to take secretly and use another’s property in a case of extreme need: Because that which he takes for the support of his life becomes his own property by reason of that need.” Aquinas would’ve probably taken his work to his grave if he saw what people repping his name were doing.

Everything else aside that is some shitty bio textbooks.

Galen will literally not teach you a single useful things on actual matters of science.

And while medicine owes a lot to Harvey, the man didn’t know what a capillary was because how the fuck would he. Like not to shit on De Motu Cordis, but the parts of his thesis that are correct you shouldn’t have left high school not knowing.

    Same goes for Mendel.

De Koennick may be good I guess, I wouldn’t know. But it appears to not even be a book, but a chapter in a book that isn’t biology because it’s a theologian writing a philosophy book.

It looks like they just added random “classic” texts and sprinkled in catholicism when appropriate. So you have Mendel rather than Darwin.
