I swear that this kind of gray area culture war thing is brought up less organically than we think. An item that is less than clear cut appears and each side is fed a slightly different version of the story leading up to an election that reminds them how terrible/removed from reality the other side is. It’s almost like it’s an election year or something.
And I say this as someone left of the democrats - it’s just exhausting seeing the same thing play out over and over again.
And I’m sure even I am missing information on the case as every source leaves out pieces that don’t support whichever side they happen to be for.
