I want to start training didn’t do much most of my life but running, now I am in my 30s and want to start with dumbbells and indoor cycling machine. Is the video enough for all muscles? And is this enough workout to stay fit as I get older? Also should I add a yoga day and balance disk?
The nice thing about being a beginner at lifting is you’ll see pretty good progress for at least the first 3 or 4 months even with the worst programming. I’d say this is a good way to start, but I would add pull ups and core work (leg lifts, planks, etc). If you’re a runner, you’ll probably also want more lower body (calf raises, squats). Adding a yoga day and cardio would also be beneficial as you get older. In 3 or 4 months, I’d re-assess and look at getting on a more efficient program (something like push/pull/legs on successive days).
