I understand there was political influence behind the scenes with Paramount but why would anyone want to go to a “season 2 preview” of a show that’s already canceled? It’s like how Netflix cancels a show a week after season 1 drops and then they complain that nobody is watching it.
Didn’t Starfleet Academy get canceled?
It was picked up very early for Season 2, which has yet to air, and then cancelled.

I have no idea what the situation is, but I’m glad they’re (a) still planning to air the second season, and (b) are willing to promote it.
