Frantz Fanon wrote about this and his experience doing psychiatric work with Algerian liberation fighters. Doesn’t matter if the cause is just, it can still take a toll.

Why would they have any trauma?
Anti-colonial violence can still be very traumatic to the colonized. Frantz Fanon wrote about this and his experience doing psychiatric work with Algerian liberation fighters. Doesn’t matter if the cause is just, it can still take a toll.
I was more thinking of guilt-related trauma. My mistake.
From being in a life-and-death situation
