I haven’t had a phone in around six months. The only way I can have money sent to me, and use it, is to have it sent to PayPal, and then go to this one website that lets me buy digital gift cards with PayPal directly (I can’t get the card, because I have to verify my phone number WHICH I DON’T FUCKING HAVE). I can’t use these digital gift cards for anything practical though, like getting gas or buying ice cream, just stupid shit like buying Steam games. To get gas I have to collect cans or sit out in front of fucking H Mart with a sign for HOURS and MAYBE get five fucking dollars.
I can’t set an alarm to wake myself up so I keep missing the methadone clinic. I was dopesick most of the week before last week.

I can’t get a job, because I don’t have a fucking phone. I don’t even need a working phone. Just a mobile device I can install TextNow on, and then I’ll be fucking fine. I’ll be able to add digital gift cards to a digital wallet and pay for shit using NFC too.
