My old employer locked down normal FF, one thing was an allow list of extensions. They did it using the profile settings JSON file in an admin only file, and normal users didn’t have admin. Thankfully, UBO and dark reader were both allowed, but still. It was annoying trying to get extensions allowed, as I had to have a “valid business case” for it. And “I want to send gifs to coworkers on teams” was not accepted to get the giphy extension allowed.
