it’s back into triple digits again what the fuck it’s October fifteenth. Supposed to be in the 60s F this weekend. This is totally normal and not the least bit fucked up.

tbh, I don’t think it was actually 104F. This is likely that the temperature sensor was in the sun or in the cabin itself, which causes it to throw an inaccurate reading. I’m not sure anywhere was reporting in the triple digits today in the US.
This is not to minimize the effects of the heat being experienced around the US today. It is rather unseasonably warm in the south.
I’m not sure if I’m in the same area of the US as microfoche, and I don’t know what was being predicted, but I’m towards the west coast and it’s 102 degrees F here right now in the shade according to my family’s (high quality) weather station thermometer. And an old cheap mercury thermometer of mine, not in the sun and where there is airflow, says the same.
Ah, okay. I looked up a temperature map of the US and didn’t see anything in the triple digits today, so I thought it could’ve been one of the aforementioned things. Localized temperatures can definitely differ from weather stations of course.
Placement of the temp sensor is near the air dam . It’s accurate. Thanks for calling me a liar though.
What? I did not call you a liar. I looked up a temperature map of the US and didn’t see anything in the triple digits, so I offered what would be a reasonable explanation of being mistaken, not lying. Christ some of you folks have this weird tendency to lose it over minor shit, jfc.
