Disclosure: I run Canido.app.

Canido is a moderated wiki for practical, model-specific guides. I’m looking for monitor owners and repairers to suggest or review modification topics, such as whether a particular monitor’s matte anti-glare coating can be removed, what risks are involved, and what people have actually observed.

We’re not claiming that removing a coating is safe or recommending that people try it. The goal is to document model-specific information and clearly label the risks.

Contributions are reviewed before publication. If you have relevant experience or reliable documentation, you can suggest a topic or submit evidence at https://canido.app/. Include the exact monitor model and revision when possible.

Is there anything in the wiki now? I’m interested in this topic, but I see zero entries in the directory.

The directory is empty right now. I’m looking for monitor owners to help build and review the first model-specific guides, including this topic. I’ll share the link once there’s a useful entry to read.
