If there’s no difference why do they spend so much on one side?

If billionaires support your political candidate it is because that candidate represents their interests. You do not share interests with billionaires. There are no good billionaires, you cannot be a good person and become a billionaire. You have to constantly hurt people to be a billionaire and billionaires support candidates who perpetuate their ability to hurt people. Republicans strongly advocate for hurting people and not having to hide that they are hurting people. Many billionaires are tired of hiding that they like hurting people while some billionaires think that is bad optics. This is the main reason some of them support democrats. They think it is bad optics. That is all. Republicans having broader support from billionaires only reflects that some billionaires don’t think they have any reason to be ashamed and that they want a portion of the working class to join in on hurting others.
If you remove America’s biggest man baby, it’s more or less a billion for each side in this graphic. ~1.2b to ~900m.
Musk’s definitely a big player putting his thumb on the scale, buuut I’m pretty sure this graphic is missing primary spending, where corporate Democrats received a ton of AIPAC funding to beat progressive challengers, so…dk how much stock I’d put in that image. I also know for certain that it’s missing the 633m of “dark” money that entered this election.
critical thinkers when they learn that every politician in their country is bought by the rich and powerful, and are slaves to the whims of the rich: this is why we have to get out tbere and VOTE! 😤
Well the fact that most on the blue side is prob AIPAC or billionaires funding their preferred choices, not anyone who happens to be on the democratic ticket does not change the basic argument. There’s a lot of evil people investing a lot to manage things.
if you don’t pick own tyranny, stupider ones will pick worse tyranny for you… for us, and we all be in deep shit.
As this is Blahaj space, this may be one important difference - tyranny vs bigoted tyranny. By this post, You call bigots to go up… Please think twice more what are You doin.
no one is stupider than me
its legal and regular practice to r*pe trans women to death in slave camps in california. stfu about blue tyrants not being bigoted. they most definitely are.
Afaik nothing official confirmed by any court or anyone… but can believe, some fucks do terrible things in such camps, may be even daily (grrr)… still won’t believe this is any legal…
Bad fucks do bad things, they may even avoid punishment, happens everywhere around the world and it’s super bad, but still not legal.
As I see, new murican blues are not deep blue, they are far more red than even center in most of Europe, and are super far from being actual lefties or libs… yes, they are not really blue, not to say any green. But that’s still best on the table. And I bet, even if blue or blueish murican politics have no big love to queer folks, they won’t kill anyone or hunt… they may cut funding and foundations, support, some may even limit medicaments, bad, but that’s still super far “better” (as less fucked) than hunting and raping and killing.
Leftist muricans had a choice - pick super fucks, or just meh… without any good on table… Agree, there was no really good lib around. But calling to not vote lets maga nazis go up, which is fuckin worst. There IS less evil.

they tried to do it to my partner in a blue state in a blue county, she even has her ID saying female. and now they are trying to send me to the slave camps to kill me for existing as a trans person. again in a blue state
hey now, many of us voted for new, fresh tyrants who haven’t been in power before!
I look forward to seeing which ones consistently end up caving and supporting their Republican colleague’s policies.
