Other concerns were raised about Tamburella using foul language, his communication style and “escalation of frustration in the workplace”. The ruling also detailed an incident at work in April this year where Tamburella fractured bones in his right hand when he struck a metal hand rail.

The pineapple was hardly the (only) reason for him being fired

    pineapple on pizza was “offensive”

Stop being a pretentious twat and do your job or get sacked for refusing to do it.

Your mastery of the English language needs work. My usage is acceptable within the context.

To explain further, the two sentences can be reworked as “he can be a pretentious twat when he starts his own pizza place”. The connection is implied and it works because English is three languages in a trenchcoat. Or was it four?

Now that you mention it… I see it.

But I’m going to be a pretentious twat and ignore that. 😗

No worries. You were very kind in suggesting US English was only a few languages in a trenchcoat. We all know it’s actually several, bastardized, broken, and beer-battered before being deep-fried in bullshit. 😋

First of all, if I had a pizza joint he’d be hired immediately (pineapple on pizza is fine, but it’s something you should do in a private place, like masturbating)

Secondly, I like anchovies on my pizza and I’m not a ninja turtle, so do whatever you want with my opinion.

Fun tip: if you find yourself at a pizza joint that serves pineapple pizza, ask if they can also add anchovies as well. If they say “no, we don’t carry anchovies”, that’s your cue to bring out the can of which you brought along, peel that stinky bastard open, sit it on the table with grace & prestige and say with a condescending tone “It’s fine, I brought my own…”

I nod at anchovy man from across the room in respect at his principled stance but he notices there’s pineapple on my pizza (not even ham along with it) and he walks over to call me a pervert to my face. The fish stink on him knocks me out and i have to eat my pizza the next day as leftovers, at home. another win for anchovies.

You don’t understand roleplaying, one doesn’t get to choose how people react. You aren’t the dungeon master. Nobody is, in real life. That’s partially why being weird is so fun.

You suggested that I, the reader, bring anchovies to the pizza place, which seemed unlikely for me. So I invented a character “anchovy man” who I control to interact with my own pineapple fan persona. You are a separate person -possibly an anchovy fan who follows your own advice- of unknown gender, divorced from this narrative. We will never know how you would have treated me, in my influenced-by-real-life persona as Pineapple Pervert.

Don’t think people’s ability to stay in a country should be at risk even if they came over on a work visa. Especially if they just need to change jobs and haven’t, like, beaten anyone up. You’ve been nonviolently engaging in society? Congrats, you get a “fuck it stick around why not” visa when you and your boss have a pizza disagreement. (Or we could re-envision the whole system, but that’s a bit much to get into on the comments of this specific post about pizza toppings)

While I agree - you should just be able to change countries by turning up and filling in a form at the airport - Unfortunately people at all ends of the political spectrum disagree.
