Maybe not entirely relevant to this case but I use a plugin called absolute copy or something that re-enables text selection and copying, and ublock for killing overlays and most of the pop-up bullshit.
The web is dead and only functions if you beat it into submission.
I have an extension called “F*ckit” that would let me right click any element on the page to delete it. Faster than making a filter in ublock at least.
It’s a licensing thing I’m sure. But yes fuck that and good job.
