I wasn’t even advocating for anything or celebrating a death, just making a dark joke about not caring because it was a billionaire. I mean, I definitely DO consider billionaires and hectomillionaires inherently harmful, but unless they’re KNOWN to be truly heinous like Trump, Kissinger, or Limbaugh, I don’t go anywhere near as far as to actually celebrate their death, which is what the rule specifically forbids.
I get how there has to be a limit, but joking about not caring about some billionaire who wasn’t even a public figure? That’s not harming anyone unless you’re saying it at the family or sadistic shit like that 🤷
Yup, that’s the one. My joke was basically complaining that it was cruel to connect her to Mitch Mcconnell just because her sister married him and then saying “nevermind, she was a billionaire 🤷”
Checking back, it’s a veritable massacre of deleted comments on that post, probably a dozen or two other people banned as well. Looks like the mods panicked lol
That’s weird… I’m pretty sure it can’t be a defederation issue since you’re on sh.itjust.works and it can’t be because it hasn’t federated YET either since it’s a post from yesterday 🤔
Well, I feel better – I was able to open their profile after all, where it shows me their last post was from 29 days ago. Scrolling down, all their comments have a million down votes.
They get accused of supporting naughty regimes so I’ll assume they read the post of mine and could tell I’m such a great ally for justice that it was best for me to be kept out of their hair.
