I’ve lived in this place in SW Wales for 25 years and, as usual, put out food for the visiting #birds. At the start you’d see a couple of dozen species visiting each day. Just now I fed them and total visitors to table so far = zero. The magpies and wood-pigeons will eventually wander by and vac it all up. The changes are so noticeable and chilling.

    There will always be life on this planet in one or the other form, at least until the sun expands enough to consume atmosphere and oceans.

    Up to and after mankinds demise there will be less animals but nature will heal and produce new life in abundant numbers.

      Those of us that remember what we had are allowed to mourn its loss. It’s worth being sad about the death of beauty.
