Fox News did not air a second of the speeches from alienated GOP leaders and former Trump officials who endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris at this week’s Democratic National Convention.

The Southern strategy motivated the South to vote in the first place. The Southern strategy turned electoral turnout in Texas from 527,000 to 1,015,000, in Florida from 614,000 to 901,000, and in Georgia from 200,000 to 401,000.

Yes, it brings the bigots to the polls, that is the point of why Repubs do it. The third party voters sit it out, indicating to Dems that they don’t give enough of a shit about any of the issues to actually vote for a preference. Dems follow right trying to collect voters who will actually vote.

I don’t know what the hell you are talking about with those numbers. What is that coming from? Did you go back and ask the MAGA think tank Discord for data or something? Here’s what I found https://www.americanpresidents.net/states/texas.php#1960results

Your numbers do not even make any sense. An absolute count instead of percentage of voting-eligible population or something? Get serious.

They’re from fucking Wikipedia. Is that MAGA now?

Southern turnout in the Republican primaries rose from 2.1 million in 1980, to 3.8 million in 1988. Turnout in Texas rose from 527,000 to 1,015,000, in Florida from 614,000 to 901,000, and in Georgia from 200,000 to 401,000. Over 40% of southern white voters participated in the Republican primaries except for in Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisiana, and Arkansas. 97% of the Republican electorate in the primaries were white.

There you go. In eight years the southern strategy nearly doubled participation in the primaries. It turns voters out. That’s how they win.

And instead of trying to turn voters out in their own base, all Democrats do is chase moderate Republicans.

You have completely failed to grasp what the Southern strategy was or how it lets Republicans win. They identified a group of disaffected voters and then won their support - that’s how it’s supposed to work.

Vote for genocide if you want, but all you’re doing is making it impossible to push Democrats to the left.

Oh, Repub primaries. Because they found a group of people who will actually vote if they go that direction. Therefore the solution to make Dems move left is by never voting. Just like your solution to genocide is making sure Donald is able to “finish the job,” you want Repubs to finish the job of converting the US into a fascist theocracy.

I’m voting, I’m just not voting for Kamala Harris. The only solution for the genocide is for Hamas and the axis of resistance to win and defeat the settler-colonial entity known as Israel. That’s how we free Palestine from the river to the sea.

It is FPTP. So you want Donald with his final solution. You want genocide in Ukraine as well. You want it domestically.
