I’ve only done it on a remote road with a huge view, so no chance of another car - but plenty of chance of animals stepping out, or even just losing control due to road surface or wind gusts etc…

Yep, I’ve topped out my Hayabusa and I feel the same way… Done it 4 or 5 times when I was a little younger but I don’t need to die that way.

It’s a rough job.

Kind people who want to help others rarely do so for the money, and employers know that. I’m not getting a great wage but it’s better than the minimum which is lovely - but we do get the minimum we can possibly be paid…

My wife is a teacher, too… Talk about under appreciated.

I’ve rarely stuck with any line of work over 3 years and I’ve learned a lot by working the variety of jobs I’ve had, but can never expect decent pay sadly.

I had a mate who didn’t speak with his parents, lost his job and left his partner.

Took him in, rent free for 6 months. Got him on his feet, he got a new job and 6 months later he left… With my 10 year relationship. And my cat (but to be fair my ex was a vet so it made sense that she took him)

I don’t understand how its any easier than using 100 and dividing…

1/2 an hour is 30 min 1/2 an hour if metric used 100 is 50 min

1/4 an hour is 15 min 1/4 an hour metric is 25 min

Any lower than that and they both get tricky…

1/8 an hour is 7.5 min 1/8 an hour metric is 12.5 min

Getting used to metric time would be an impossible thing to implement worldwide I reckon, but I struggle to understand how its any less simple than the 60 min hour we have and the 24 hour day…
