I’m not 50 until 2040 if I make it that far, and I have no idea how bad the future will get. I’d retire ASAP I hate working.
Doubt I’ll ever get to, but I’d choose free time with minimal reasonable savings over more money easily.
How do you do, fellow kids? You gettin’ indoctrinated on the world wide web? Radical!

An Iconic Burger Chain founded in Edmonton, Alberta…is one claim among many!
When you’re done shitposting, cram a glorious burger down your gob in the most run down shit hole you can find.
If it’s last renovated in the 70’s and you wonder if it’s a front for the mob, you’re in a proper Burger Baron!

That’s over easy, medium is when the yolk starts to set but not fully. My fave is over medium.
Between scrambled and omelette I’m going scrambled.

The photos in that old PDF they linked to are so cool, seeing all the claw marks.

It looks like a reject AI gen, impressive.

Star Citizen, Yooka-Laylee, Broken Age, A Hat in Time, The Good Life.
At least A Hat in Time was a solid W.

You know things are getting insane when he’s starts bragging about breaking Photonicinduction records.

The pacing is a little grating too, he speeds up his voice-over these days in post. Just compare how he sounds in older videos to the newer ones.

A lovely weird Canadian artist I adore.
USA news slop over-exposure protest. Very reddit-like behavior to shove USA politics into every fucking community so I agree.

Okay so you’ve either proven you can’t parse obvious sarcasm or you’re still an unimpressive troll. Congrats.

I can for Nate Glubish and will do so with glee.

Possibly you did! Discoverability was easier back then too, people were still using ROM site link lists. We’d add ourselves to all of them manually and then we slowly crawled up Google’s page ranking passively! Now most everyone (not counting anyone reading this comment) has an allergic reaction to a social hub not owned by a corporation.
If you disable adult content filters on Bluesky, you can very easily see why for yourself. Content thieves.

I co-owned a semi popular console ROM and PC piracy site as a teenager with two others. While it was a lot of fun especially in the forum and I made a lot of cool friends, it was very risky in hindsight. I’m amazed we never even got C&D emails before we lost interest in the project once life got busy.
Basically it was direct download for ROM files while PC games and console ISO were shared on the forum in the Warez-bb styling. This grew the active daily forum users rapidly at the time who then stuck around to yap.

He did or used to have a Don’t Tread On Me flag, but his dad and then himself are such hoarders it’s hard to know if he even remembers it’s up there. I’ve never heard a political take from him ever, nor does he give off that vibe so I watch him still.

They do seem to be trying to grow too fast, but we’ll see. There were a lot of comments warning them about fire/insurance risk due to the style of roof their old building they bought has.

He was very butthurt about Roman brothels and acted like Christianity ended them yep.

Between the clownvoy support and his inability to learn how to use his CNC machine properly…yeah. Dude sucks.
I did but I was aimless, forever depressed, too smart for my own good, disillusioned, and just going through the motions. So basically nothing has changed since I was cursed with mortal life. I do not dream of work.
I was all over the place. Programming, hearing aid practitioner, automotive mechanic, and welding. I got the furthest in the trades and quit while journeyman for both mechanic and welding. The work itself was fine, I hated the employees, the employers, and work culture. Private health care even in Canada…well I decided with hearing aids I’d basically be scamming old people and I couldn’t do that. Progamming I did not enjoy at all.
After all that at age 24 I took up a job in a warehouse as a picker, quickly moved up the ladder because not being a burned out drug addict or ex-con was exceptional there, and within a year I was the rentals manager without trying to become one.
I was spamming resumes my second year there while working and then it just so happened the owner of the warehouse knew the person in charge of hiring at the chemical plant I work at now. When they called for reference he talked me up big time. Thankful for that.
I worked packaging for a few months, and then changed positions internally when an extruder operator position opened up. Now I make 120k a year in a position the corporate eye of Sauron rarely swivels upon. Entirely by luck. I’m left alone and barely answer to anyone. The downside is cabin fever, there’s so little to do it’s actually a negative quality.
Nothing I did in college applies lol. That’s how it goes sometimes.
