This isn’t really the fault of the average decent American. Many good people have slept walked the country into this situation but miniuplation by tech and the rich has a big part of this. Many are now still likely in denial and don’t know how to fight it.

I think the question is really where is the line for them? Immigrants? The unemployed? Elders?

I hate AI however my sympathy for these guys is not high. Most of them have been plagiarising one another for years, scalping users data and pushing their monitized drivel with a recipe as a footer.

Weirdly it’s one of the few uses I would employ AI for. Give me a recipes for abc# must have high ratings. I k ow that is what our search engines should do…but don’t due to the SEO tactics and monitising the net. These people employed the dog that’s now biting them.

I reached this point a few years ago. I was sick of cheap plastic being everywhere and marketing telling me a I need things to make my life convenient.

I like buying value but they have crept up in price. My small but enduring example has been kitchen utensils and cooking products(decent wooden chopping boards, oven trays etc).

I had to start my life again so I have been trying to thrift of buy 1 decent quality things one at a time as a treat. Sad but fulfilling. This is how it is now in most areas on my life.

I dont buy for matching. I buy for function and, and quality.

I like being in the garden it seems so much more acceptable to repurpose and tinker in that world but for homes it seems to be looked down on.

I know it’s not simple when you need something immediate but you can start replacing crap in small sections. The kitchen utensils was mine. 10 quality items only…in the utensils tub by the oven. 10 only. No plastic.

What’s annoying is that they pop up trying to save everything go on. Drives me crazy. No I don’t wanna save my details with you, I didn’t yesterday and I won’t tomorrow.

Even strong and independent deserves some rest too. Probably even more. Your shoulders are not boulders. Take some weight off if you can.

So if you need help, you need help. Don’t feel bad about that. You are human.

If your buddies didn’t like you they wouldn’t be around and they wouldn’t bother putting words together. Chat with them, they are only human too.

I don’t feel comfy sharing something, however as a mother it’s a hard thing to say but resilience and learning to let things bounce of you will make you feel happier. I know that sounds easy to say but inhibitions based on what others think just stops you being happy.

Not everything is sweetness and light but you can choose to enjoy happiness your way. Even the little moment.
