  • If Greenland becomes a super power with nuclear weapons, they could fire those nukes at the entire US… Wherever you live, this could effect you. You could say Greenland may be the greatest threat the world has ever seen, posing as a small incapable region of Denmark.

This is why I have decided to preemptively send troops and private oil companies in to stop this. I’m calling it my big beautiful invasion, it’s gonna be peaceful and we’re gonna make them pay for it.

Guess who’s gonna pay me to invade them? I have all these guys, big business guys, they’re oil guys so they’re all really rich… And they’re saying to me “Mr. Trump! Mr.Trump! It’s okay Mr. Trump, we’ll pay for it”.

I’m kidding! He doesn’t talk this way anymore. These days he gurgles and sounds like a dementia patient who just shat his pants…

…because he’s a dementia patient who’s just shat his pants. He’s also ALWAYS BEEN an overtly corrupt insider. Voters just didn’t realize it because they were upset at the establishment system and desperately wanted something different!

  • Someone who doesn’t even have the balls to name and shame the forum won’t be able to do anything. But in all honesty, comedy is the only thing that works.

The alt-right innately functions on relief.

They thrive off people feeling disgruntled and under represented by the system, feeling overlooked and alienated. People who have grievances.

…and then they provide those people with an identity, community, and a sense that someone is listening and will represent them.

That person is usually seen as a capable outsider who bucks the system and “gets them” showing this by being charismatic and funny. Someone who swims in the same waters/thoughts as them.

You’d have to break and replace all that, show them who “their guy” really is whilst being funnier and more charismatic. It’s really tough to do and will need more than just one person.

  • So did he sexually assault his sister? She seems to think so.

He’s clearly from the “bad things have to happen bow, because I’m claiming they’ll lead to better things later” - which is the premise of every scam.

The Nigerian prince needs a fraction of his fortune now, so good things can happen later. Multi-level marketing only needs your initial sign up fee paid now, so you can be locked into ongoing costs later. Three card monty and heroin only need you to try your first taste so you can chase the horrible outcomes later.

  • Generational war is a way to distract from class war, and a way to disconnect people from being inspired by the long HISTORY of class struggle.

The 8 hour day? Unions? The wellfare system (such as it is), maybe Grandma was on the picket lines for some of that too? Especially likely if she was poor.

There are labour activists and socialists in every generation.

  • I mean Microsoft is currently preferable to Google.

    Microsoft:

Microsoft’s “biomimicry” program is reshaping the land around its data centers with restored wetlands and native gardens to help the buildings blend into local ecosystems at 20-plus sites, reports The Verge. Critics question the company’s motives after recent energy deals, such as a 20-year deal inked in June to buy power from a planned Chevron gas plant in West Texas. Public Citizen’s Texas director, Adrian Shelley, called the plan “basically lipstick on a pig.”

The Mount Pleasant site, home to Fairwater, which Microsoft calls the “world’s most powerful AI data center,” has 100 acres of prairie and forest in a Lamparek Creek restoration with the Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network. Its executive director, Dave Giordano, told the outlet that Microsoft developed its stormwater ponds with forebays to retain sediment, one of a number of accommodations for the environment. “Not all data center companies are the same,” he said. It is a living example of the company’s answer to AI data center backlash.

    Google:

As Finnish newspaper Kaleva reported last month, Google is under fire for clearing over 300 hectares — the equivalent of almost 500 football fields — for two new data centers in the northern part of the European nation without concluding the necessary environmental assessments.

Despite the assessments still being in progress, the tech giant’s contractors started clearing trees in the area months ago, raising the alarm bells at the Finnish Nature Conservation Association.

But it’s ultimately leverage for killing the planet and making a destructive technology seem acceptable. We’ve seen “industrial parks”. It’s a bandaid on a heart attack.
