That’s one of the least “at leasts” I’ve seen in a long time.
I don’t read DMs.

I’m an old man browsing this on LibreWolf on a Linux Mint desktop. If I can do it, anyone can.
Having said that, running across a FOSS app that only runs on Windows that I want to run, has me thinking I need to rebuild and dual boot Win 10 IOT. Frustrating. I just learned that while installing Linux next to Windows works, because of course it does, installing Windows next to Linux does not. Because, again, of course, Windows is an asshole. So, that means I’d need to nuke Linux, install Windows, then reinstall Linux. And, that seems like… a lot. I might still do it, though.
EDIT: The app I want to run needs access to my nvidia card. So a VM won’t work, I already tried it.

So, “virtue” signaling? That’s my only guess.

Yep, he’s just negotiating.

I’d rather have this than a $2000 LG that shows ads, spies on me, and fails in five years.
If my 27-year-old Whirlpool ever gives up the ghost, maybe I’ll get one of these.

That’s North Canary Island. It’s not on many maps because it formed recently from a submerged volcano. Maybe you remember hearing about that a few years ago?

People has some helpful links at the bottom of their story. No, People, I don’t like this, I don’t want to read this:

Thank you. Works well. I’m much happier with the interface I used for over 30 years in Photoshop, it’s helpful to have that emulated somewhat in GIMP.
I also tracked down how to set the scroll wheel to zoom without the need for the Ctrl key, which was another annoyance. I’ve tried before to discover this, but failed. Maybe I was looking at the official documentation, which could use some work. Anyway, here’s how to get the scroll wheel to zoom without the Ctrl key:

This Old Tony. He doesn’t post a lot anymore, but everything he posts is gold.
Lock Picking Lawyer. Short, to the point and always entertaining.
Dale Philip. Best travel vlog on YouTube. Just a dude and his camera.
Just Have a Think.
Joe Scott.
Sabine Hossenfelder. I don’t understand most of what she talks about, but I like her moxie.
Wheezy Waiter.
Undecided with Matt Ferrell.
Technology Connection. Until recently, the past few years, it felt like he barely grasped the subject he was talking about. I like his vibe, he’s true to himself.
Techmoan.
Dr Geoff Lindsey. Linguist. Talks about the English language.

I’m bitter and old, AND movies have gotten worse. All those things are true.
I have better now luck with TV shows. Currently, Pluribus is good.
I’m on here now, because I couldn’t find anything to watch tonight. I’m hoping One Battle After Another is good, we’ll see. Often, I turn off a new movie less than 15 minutes in.

Watched it when it was released, completely forgot about it.
Saw it mentioned on a podcast, watched it again about two weeks ago. I can barely remember it now. The “I see dead people” kid, Jude Law, and Teddy Ruxpin look for a statue? Yeah, that sounds right.
When it was mentioned on the podcast, I mistook it for I, Robot. That’s how much I’d forgotten about the movie.

Do you wear the strap around the back of the head yet? I finally decided I didn’t care what it looked like, I was just tired of losing my glasses when I was doing home improvement tasks. I’d get hot and sweaty in the summer, and whenever I looked down, my glasses would slide down, or just fall off. It’s worth never needing to push my glasses up.

“In those early stages of putting those cameras in, there was a short period of time where we are still really trying to hone in on what we felt like was going to be the good rhythm of where we shared information,”
Do they take classes on how to speak like this? Are there seminars, or community college courses? What?

I just caught up tonight.
Once it was revealed that they couldn’t force them to be converted, I thought, ‘I’d totally do what Diabaté is doing.’ I’m not proud of that, but I would.

To write such a story, I’d need to study Catholicism. As an atheist, I’m only slightly more motivated to study Catholicism than Catholics.

Research has not yet pinpointed what exactly causes the fenty fold, as fentanyl use is not known to directly affect the spine. Instead, it’s becoming clear that it is a neuromuscular side effect of synthetic opioids like fentanyl. Studies from the Journal of Applied Physiology and the Harm Reduction Journal highlighted similar findings that fentanyl use can lead to severe and widespread muscle rigidity, particularly in the trunk muscles, which restricts respiration and affects posture and mobility.

I suppose now that “the children are protected”, there aren’t any roadblocks to more intently exploiting the adults?

~15 minutes to here, depending on how I’m feeling about myself.
This was my ride in high school, but I was with you otherwise.
I forgot my lock one day so left it in the rack hoping no one would notice it wasn’t locked. It was gone by the end of the day. I saved up from my first job the previous summer to buy it. I was heart-broken. So, the next summer, I did it again, and bought a Shogun 600. I ended up leaving that bicycle behind when I moved out of state and couldn’t fit it in my car with everything else. I still miss that bike.
