Yes, because people got pissy about the menu UI. It’s really not great and needs rework, but not enough to review bomb like it is right now. Globally, the game is really better with the new engine even if there are stuff to be fixed still.

Yeah ! I’m really looking forward to the 15th.
Yes, I think they’re releasing boss themed hunters. With the event you can unlock the brunches themed hunter and there’s scrapbeak with these 2.
Oh definitely, I’ve had games yesterday that I had 30 pts … with the 100% boost 😆
I don’t agree. Given you can make way over 100 points normally in a game. Now you make 200+ per game. It does make a difference. You normally get 7k points from challenges in a week. You can make a non significant amount of points from that.
In that case, I have no calms with early access as long as expectations are managed and people aren’t led to believe the game is ready for launch. Which they did well.
It was plastered all over the place that it was early access and I remember them warning everyone in a live stream that there would be bugs and such.
However, I will agree with you if they ditched paying an actuel QA team in favour of free early access players. I don’t have the answer to that though.
I might be wrong, but I’d wager it has to do with the popularity of DnD vs Pathfinder. That and the nostalgia from BG 1 and 2.
I think it has to do with the current popularity of DnD in general.
Yeah, just lost the hunter I’ve been running since the beginning earlier today :’(
Same, but it’ll be for the better. Knowing you’ll lose your hunter, makes me a little bit more cautious.
Corrected. Thank you.
Oh absolutely. It’s more the wording of it then the information per se that bothers me.
I’m tired of news outlets always claiming that the strikes costs X amount of money to the economy. It’s almost never the strikers fault but corporate greed that’s responsible.
Look who lives in the future
What a fuckin shit show …
Hell no, that country seems to be on track for a civil war.
Couldn’t find it with the search feature. However, through your post history I’ve found it and could subscribe to the community from there. Thank you !
I’m using wefwef.app to browse lemmy. It’s pretty similar to Apollo in terms of UI. But when I tried to search for the community it won’t show up
They didn’t remove them permanently. They just removed them to rework them for the new engine. Besides, with the new map coming out I wouldn’t have wanted to play the old ones we’ve been playing for the past years
I’m only having issues in 1 or 2 compounds otherwise it’s the same performance as before on my end
Haven’t been my experience at all. Maybe it’s a region thing but east coast has no matchmaking time difference
That part has indeed been more noticeable, but only had maybe 4 games where servers went to crap since the update
They haven’t change the ranking system with the update. Are you referring to the change that happened back this summer ? If so, that change has been great. Solo sweat lords that derank on purpose to try and stomp noobs was fuckib wack. Now they get to stay in their place where they should be.
They’ve been doing that for quite a while. What does it have to do with the engine upgrade ?
Yeah true, but all games have those. Hunt is neither better nor worse then others on that front. They sure should’ve done a test server before deploying the engine upgrade, but who knows why they didn’t.
The rest of your post is just pointless to entertain a discussion.
