So, I’ve had repeated issues with using the Triller TV app to watch PPVs on my Nvidia Shield, as I mentioned in the last AEW PPV thread. I left a negative review on the Play Store, and they replied asking me to reach out to support, so I did, only to be told the Shield is not a supported device.
Needless to say, I’m pretty disappointed. I know my Shield is getting a bit long in the tooth at this point (it is a 2015 model), but it is still a really good piece of kit I’d rather not replace, and it does run a fairly modern version of Android TV (version 12). That they’re not even willing to try to support it is kinda baffling, tbh.
Anyway, all that to say, what are y’all using to watch wrestling PPVs on Android TV? I guess I can do YouTube, but Google has enough money. Is PPV.com any good?

I tend to favor Ace, just because I have one close by and they’re all franchise stores (which means local ownership of the individual store, at least, which softens the blow of shitty corporate practices).
Menard’s is another option, but I have no idea if they’re any better on this issue than Home Depot or True Value.

I’m curious about that broadcast channel package. If one of the big 4 networks took an interest, that would be huge for AEW, but that almost seems like a pipe dream. But other than them, who’s left? CW is in bed with WWE, and nobody else in the broadcast space really matters much at all.

If I had to guess, they are probably shortening the time slot so they could use the lead in to draw viewers to another program, which makes the 8-10 slot the most likely. But I’m not a TV exec, so who knows?

Besides her being perhaps the most popular musician on the planet with a rabid fanbase that will do pretty much anything she tells them to, there’s also the fact that Trump tried to ride her coattails by posting an AI slop poster claiming she was endorsing him, basically forcing her hand here.
But make no mistake. Maybe this won’t affect you or me, but there are a lot of young women who are going to look at Harris much more fondly because she got Taylor’s endorsement.

Not speaking for D’amore, but for myself personally, it would have done more long term good for TNA if they could have had some TNA talent appear on AEW TV other than the Good Brothers.

No idea whose fault it is that he couldn’t stay on TV consistently, or even if it’s really anybody’s fault when it comes down to it, but maybe a change of scenery will do him good. And hey, WWE is a much better place now than when he left, so maybe they’ll pick him up and he’ll do well there.
