I often find myself thinking of the phrase “too clever by half” when listening to the meandering logic of democrats and their voters. One person has a clear moral conviction that may not easily connect to an actionable reality but at least has moral clarity. The other person has a confusing and circuitous chain of tenuous logic that all essentially amounts to incrementalism.

I don’t know how I can simultaneously want them to lose and also be mad that they are fucking trying to eat it this badly and in this particular way. Not looking forward to Like two more weeks of intense loathing. The loathing will continue after as well but holy shit this campaign sucks.

It’s tough because i understand the necessity to dispel superstition and bigoted traditions. and yet, it is deeply uncool and antisocial to be so militantly against anyone believing in anything.
