  • Yes, as I said, western people with vague ties and no evidence of said ties making up stories.

We know what genocide looks like when a country has complete control over all communications … It looks like hd video. It looks like leaked audio. It looks like tens of thousands of refugees despite military blockades on all sides.

It is not vague stories and claims from people that voluntarily left decades earlier. It is not stories that you can immediately disprove on a visit. It is not the d-tier propaganda that people like you only believe due to racism and believing the Chinese are so fundamentally different that those doing the genocide would have not one single person defect and come forward. The Chinese are human. Not a hive mind. In even the most brainwashed examples of real genocide, a double digit percentage of those perpetrating it defect and try to tell the world. Not one single one has. None of the thousands upon thousands of people required in the act and cover-up of this ‘genocide’ have broke… Making it the most successful conspiracy in the history of the world… If it were true.

Why do you people stop having critical thinking skills the second China is mentioned?

  • A) eastern Oregon all combined has about the GDP of Portland. If it were it’s own state, it’d be among the poorest and require tens of billions of federal funds to operate at all. If it joined Idaho, Idaho would actually become less productive per capita while the remaining Oregon becomes more productive.

    B) if independent it would give two solid red senate seats

    C) most of its water comes from the Cascades, which would absolutely vote to remain in western Oregon, meaning they’d forever be dependent on a blue state, and would be taking advantage of blue states investment into water management while contributing nothing.

    D) this move, if allowed at the federal level, would encourage other balkanization of states, creating mass confusion among businesses, generating billions in new costs to handle the bureaucratic strain, and generally make doing anything positive with taxes impossible for decades. That’s without dealing with the massive number of lawsuits, e.g. decades long contracts with states that Might be invalidated with the new state that needs to be settled.

Really, your link includes healthcare costs, so unemployment benefits, welfare, and food costs?

I haven’t clicked on it but if it’s a GDP comparison alone or an inflation comparison that does not include that, edit: I don’t know how to address what you just linked, given it has nothing to do with the conversation.

You people have been dangling the same carrot for longer than the average American has been alive. It’s like you people forget Bill Clinton was the lesser evil compromise. So was Obama, so was hrc, so was Biden.

If the US falls to fascism good, maybe you people will wake up. If not, and it’s absolutely not anymore fascist now than it was 5 or a hundred years ago, then in 2026 and 2028 Dems will still lose if they keep trying to blame everyone but their own shitty policies for their losses.

To your propaganda about being better off than other countries, that has never been true, it’s still not now.

There is simply no contradiction there. Supporting fascism and genocide cost Dems the election. Their ideology wasn’t different enough from Trump to offer anything of value.

Harris, you might remember, proposed and supported border legislation that is still further right wing than what Trump has implemented or has stated he’s planned on implementing.
