FORK. I made the same one I used with Reddit. Gol darn it.
I’ll make a new one, probably. I’m already a mod on this account so I’ll just dual wield.

Sure, that’s fair; there’s certainly a balance to be had.
What species are these? They’re super adorable.
Welcome aboard! There’s now over 400,000 of us! (Source).
Zero surprise. Most people are living life on autopilot. They will continue to ignore major issues—like politics, climate change, and corporations mistreating people—to our collective long-term detriment. Anecdotally, I have friends who don’t give two fucks about such important things. Instead, they focus almost purely on MMA, reality TV, and stand-up comedy.
I mean, we all have hobbies but damn, pay attention and take a stand on serious issues that affect us all.
Fucking yikes. Now this is yet another reason to protest en masse. God speed, French folk.
I have been following the World News live threads religiously since mid-February 2022 and I’m really looking forward to something similar here in the Fediverse.
I don’t have a ton of modding experience but I did mod at r/Moscow for about a week in August 2022. A pro-Ukrainian Polish lad who used to live in Moscow forgot he was a mod there years ago. As it turned out, he was now the most senior mod so he banned all other mods and replaced them with pro-Ukrainian people, turning it into an anti-Putin sub. A subreddit coup, if you will. He said he aimed to use the sub as a way to lift the voices of all the Eastern Europe nations victimized by Russia over the years.
I flaired up to let the Muscovites know an American army vet was now a Moscow mod, permitting a flood of pro-UKR memes while removing pro-RU-invasion posts and comments. Russian jimmies were thoroughly rustled.
Reddit admins eventually received enough orc complaints to give the sub back to them. All good things must come to an end.
Anyway, despite my dearth of modding experience I’d like to help out as a mod. Cheers from Alaska.
Thought I had YouTube or some other streaming app open in the background when I viewed the image.
Probably for the best.
I may use Reddit through the browser on occasion while googling (but without logging in). My Reddit activity has dropped 99%. The 1% is lurking the World News thread to follow Ukraine war updates while logged out.
I’ve since successfully upvoted some comments and made replies without it hanging with the spinning circle. Not sure what the issue was but it all seems to be running smoothly now. Thanks.
“Describe a time where you experienced conflict in the workplace. What did you do to resolve it?”
I got that question every time I applied for state jobs. One of my least favorite. But hey, I came up with decent replies and got hired each time.
Upvotes are still getting rejected. Replies hang so I cancel out and it turns out they did post.
That said, browsing is pretty snappy and smooth. I know the kinks will get worked out eventually. Thanks for the update.
Edit: This now appears resolved minutes later. All smooth on my end.
That’s awesome. Good on him.
Some people go to law school or medical school in their 40’s. Some folks complete degrees in their 50’s or later. You’re never too old to pursue an education.
I’m a simple man. I see beans, I upvote.
Likewise!
