I’m a big Ridge fan but I could never get this game - it’s not bad by any means but it never grabbed me like RR6 did. The change of stylistic direction certainly is something.
The soundtrack is a fucking banger though.
Mr bin Sunglasses seems to read the room before taking in all the pertinent information, looks at the best decision he can make, and thinks to himself “…nah fuck that” and picks the worst possible answer to most situations.
It’s almost a skill.

I know it’s horses for courses and all that, but I rather like that setup.
I get on a bus/train whatever or in the car, and get into a work headspace for half an hour with some tunes. I do my work in a specific location, I use that commute back to switch off and read a bit of a book; and return home to a space where work is literally at the bottom of my priority list.
There are absolutely some benefits to remote and hybrid, but in my personal circs, it’s nice having that big fat twelve mile geographic gab between “paid to give a fuck” and “not give a fuck”.

Yeah in fairness (and I’m not defending anybodies practices here, about 50 pence of that is fuel taxation, along with 20% on top.
The actual cost to the consumer of the fuel itself is probably “only” around 70p.
It’s kinda fucked to be fair - I’m all for reducing our reliance on car transport but the interim step of EVs is getting hosed as well now.
I remember back when I started to drive, it was just shy of 50p.

I’m not it’s biggest fan either, but both terms are commonly used in the United Kingdom, and without inherent malice for the most part.
I agree that we should be trending towards “the unhoused” or other more dignified terms, whereas counterintuitively “the homeless” is a perfectly acceptable term elsewhere in the world but stigmatised in the UK.
