She was complaining about why people won’t just leave her alone, completely ignoring that she’s playing for the side that literally hates her

Like don’t you know you’re trans? Don’t you know you’re from the Global South and getting exploited? You’re trying to be just like your oppressors, hoping they’ll accept you while they push everyone else down the hierarchy. It’s such a disgrace. I hate feeling like this. I hate feeling so alone and I hate being able to see right through her facade

For me 🇲🇽, I support Argentina even though the situation there right now is… not great, to put it mildly

Ironically US Latinos actually tend to lean further right on average than people living in Latin America… a lot of this stems from a desire to earn a white adjacent status and be seen as “one of the good ones”
