You can have your feelings about someone calling someone out for mispelling something(it’s a name, though, so they should get it right) but there’s nothing quite as pathetic as people like you. Why be better when you can be proudly stupid instead?

Exactly. Conservatives are a mostly lost cause who will either figure it out on their own after being beaten by the people they elect themselves or who are so blind they will never see it. Centrists who “aren’t very political” and who “just want everyone to get along” are constantly telling progressives that they’re “too extreme” despite the fact that the entire basis of centrism is being in between two other options, no matter where that actually puts them.
They’re just a bunch of cowards who are heading for a cliff but think that applying the brakes too strongly might be a little uncomfortable so they just do it a little. They’re still going off the cliff, just a little slower.
There has been, as I recall, all sorts of fucked up nonsense, usually involving minorities and women. Go in for one thing and oh whoops, you’re sterile now! A lot of insane shit like that. People going to the doctor’s to figure out a problem with an organ they didn’t realize that they no longer have, that kinda bullshit.
The people in power are also all the voters who see this behaviour, who see the obvious lies(even for them in their echo chambers it’s hard to miss some of this), and who continue to support not only him, but conservatism in general. It has never worked, yet they keep saying “ok, so once again it is conservatism that has produced this loser but he’s not a real conservative so I’m gunna keep supporting the POS factory.”
We can argue about the racism, the sexism, the classism, and all that for a real long time but ultimately a few evil people won’t last against a population that actually cares and a few caring people won’t last against a population that allows themselves to be duped by obvious racism, sexism, etc.
The GOP, for all their evil and election fraud, still would not win a single election if the people of the US said “no.”

It’s been incredibly clear for a long time that the combination of greed, stupidity, and selfishness does not care about making money based on consumer happiness.
Product is a higher quality so people will buy more? That could mean that someone else can make a better thing, and implies choice. Bettee to just assure that the competition doesn’t exist and then we can make shittier, cheaper things that cost even more.
Four day work-weeks are more productive and make people happier? It also means they’ll expect respect and we can’t have that.
Basing the entire world power supply on gasoline is clearly a terrible idea and we should be looking to have a diverse set of sources, many of which are renewable? How about we just make up a bunch of lies and propaganda so that we never need to change?
Sony had to come up with lithium-ion batteries for their products because battery manufacturers were plenty happy making lead-acid and telling everyone who wanted more to go fuck themselves.
The reason you don’t understand is because you assume that there’s a level of morality to capitalism and to corporate decision making. There is less than zero, it’s awful on purpose.
The government is the union, at a base level, and then you go from there. If your government offers nothing then even a union will only bring you up so much. Both are good even without the other, but the government actually working for the people and making hard laws is the best option if you had to pick. It’s also much more difficult to do considering most people are dumb as hell, so unions help give them a more local opportunity to understand that working together is a good idea.
Because they were very expensive and it’s nearly impossible to find other chumps who will buy them. They also stand out exactly like one would expect so even if you only have one or two in your city you’re going to see them every time they’re anywhere near you.
The NDP were right there. Any complaint against them doesn’t mean shit fuck-all when the people makong them voted for the Liberals, the party which brought us not changing how our elections work because they hugely benefit from how unfair they currently are.
In 2021, the NDP got over half the votes that the Liberals got. They have the support, they are a valid party, and unlike our two flavours of conservative party they at least try to make life better for us. Then you come along, and I think we’ve had this discussion before, and act like our only progressive option doesn’t even exist because it’s easier than accepting that you didn’t actually vote against conservatism, but instead you voted for it and against progress.
He’s attacked unions, fired tens of thousands of people, given huge benefits to O&G companies(many of whom are from the US), and when the first strikes on Iran happened the first thing he said was that Canada would unconditionally support the US. The Liberals are terrible for this country and have settled into being solidly right of center. The only thing making people believe they are right-wing is that they don’t openly hate gay people which isn’t a requirement to be conservative despite the fact that is so often included.
