Squash the fediverse before it reaches critical mass.

If you can’t distinguish peers like Kbin, Lemmy and Mastodon from the likes of Meta or Alphabet, I can’t help you.
It’s astounding how so many will invite the thief at the door inside and offer him supper.
Eugen is off his meds. He’s content for Mastodon (and all other ActivityPub peers) to stay niche apparently.
Gross. Wouldn’t use it if they paid me.
I wouldn’t be stunned if illicit substances have perennially been in the White House for a century or more. It’s a hostile, high-stress work environment. Of course people are going to medicate.
“Destroying twitter at the behest of the Saudis”… you wouldn’t happen to have a reference for a statement like that?
Confirming earlier reports, WB Discovery has revealed that some of its HBO shows are coming to Netflix. The first of these, the series Insecure, is out now on Netflix.
Variety and Deadline are reporting that some of HBO’s other programming, including the World War II shows Band of Brothers and The Pacific, will come to Netflix in the future alongside the drama Six Feet Under and the sports comedy series Ballers starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Additionally, True Blood will be available on Netflix outside of the US. Every show mentioned here will stay on Max (the streaming service formerly known as HBO Max).
WB Discovery, of course, isn’t bringing all of its HBO shows to Netflix, especially not its newest ones. HBO’s premiere programming, including Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon, Succession, The White Lotus, and The Last of Us more recently, remain available to stream exclusively on Max.
Netflix itself confirmed the news about Insecure specifically, releasing a tweet saying that all five seasons of the show, which was created by Issa Rae, are now streaming. There is no word yet on when Band of Brothers, Ballers, and others will appear on Netflix.
The struggle for this expensive film to be profitable is as predictable as its script.
I leave mine on Appear Away most of the time. People in my work area know they can message me anytime. People who think I’m away will not expect an immediate reply.
Poor guy. It’s all he has going for him, I bet. That and kombucha tea.
I didn’t finish the series. The writing could have been far better.
Nearby stores are selling out of popcorn. Keep goin’ Spez!
This strategy sounds perfect: ensuring Threads isn’t the destination of choice for serious discussion. Thanks for sentencing your new product to death, Adam.
