3·1 month agodistros that operate out of a different state or country are under no obligation to comply, as a start. and linux’s open source nature would make it trivially easy to bypass a potential ban in states that do have these laws.

yeah good luck with that, lmao. this is 100% unenforceable. and even if a distro does opt to comply (ubuntu, most likely) all one has to do is jump ship to another one that’s given this law the finger.
