Not to mention Intel provides probably the best Linux support out of the “Big 3”

First three Ari Aster movies: Hereditary, Midsommar and Beau is Afraid. Also, most of Cronenberg’s horror opus (skip the dramas and thrillers)

Then finish them off with:

“Where we’re going, we won’t need eyes to see.”

“Your Deco Home Wi-Fi System is currently up-to-date. Enjoy!”

Back in the day, I had my photos in multiple locations, some on local external drives, some in small cloud storage pockets….a bit of mess, really. Since I had a great deal on O365 family plan I thought - why not gather all of my various photo collections, and consolidate them on a single cloud storage - what could possibly go wrong? This is how I discovered that OneDrive doesn’t know how to read EXIF metadata properly. I ended up with basically a pile of over 30k pictures and videos, completely out of any order. Never again.

Exactly! Using proprietary battery shapes and sealing them inside the devices benefits only the manufacturer - everybody else loses. I also can’t believe the bullshit excuses they use to justify this: “open designs can’t be waterproof” (yes, they can), “sealed cases are thinner and lighter” (by a fraction of measurement nobody can even appreciate in daily use), etc.

I absolutely refuse to buy any small gadgets using rechargeable batteries. I buy either wired, or using standard AA/AAA batteries. I am seeing the similar trend in pocket and tabletop radios, which is an absolute nonsense.

“……The pastor in Florida….”

Finished There Is No Antimemetics Division (audiobook), started Children of Memory by Adrian Tchaikovsky (Book 3 of the Children of Time series)
If this doesn’t bring American booze back to Canadian stores, I don’t know what will.

Peppa is good, but Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom was (still is) better - more complex stories, inside jokes for grownups, charming characters. Too bad it lasted only two seasons.
